County Line?

Ran across this picture in the internet the other day. The caption said it was an aerial photograph of a city in Brazil that adjoined to the Rain Forest.

But I got to looking at it and decided it might be a picture of the Loudon County, Knox County/Farragut county line. Farragut/Knox on top Loudon County on bottom. Sure looks like Hwy. 11 running up the middle of the picture.

Of course, it's not really the county line but you do have to ask, what happened to Farragut. Back in the 70's, Farragut officials were so concerned about maintaining their "upscale" status, they incorporated to prevent Knoxville from annexing them. For many years, Farragut did maintain their status but over the last few years, Farragut officials have apparently given into the low rent idea, filling their city with thousands of apartments, from high end to income based.

But Loudon County residents can rest easy, Farragut's blight won't be moving into Loudon County.

Elections have consequences. People best be aware of who they vote for.
