With the ink barely dry on the board appointments, Doyle Arp's  newly created Insurance Committee, will be holding their first meeting this Friday, June 20th at 9:00 at the county building. Appointed board members include Commissioner Nancy Marcus, Commissioner Shirley Reno, Clerk And Master Fred Cheney, and Election Commissioner Dana Zehner.

The meeting will be in violation of the open meetings law for failing to give "adequate public notice" of the meeting.

The committee was formed to review the current health insurance policy cost division between the county and county employees. County employees are encouraged to attend the meeting.
