Harrison Bluford
age
14 of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly May 7, 2008. He
was a member of First Baptist Church and attended
Vaughn’s Chapel Baptist Church. Coty was a Freshman at
Lenoir City High School where he was a member of the
Varsity Football Team and Freshman Basketball Team. He
was an avid outdoorsman. Preceded in death by his
grandfather, Henry Bluford, Sr.; great grandfather,
Oscar Lane Sr.; uncle, Gary Wilson and cousins, Wanda
and Amanda Lane. Survived by his mother, Lisa Harvey and
husband, Gary Lynn; father, Henry Bluford and wife,
Julia all of Lenoir City; brother, Connor Harvey;
sisters, Rebekah and Katie Bluford; grandparents, Oscar
and Donna Lane and Mary Bluford; great grandmother,
Helen Lane; aunts, Monica Lane, Tammy Gallaher and
husband, Paul and Carol Robinette; many great aunts,
cousins and friends; girl friend, Taylor Stachowicz. The
family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at
the First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Funeral
services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Randy Leming
and Rev. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends
will gather at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lakeview Cemetery
for graveside services. Serving as pallbearers: Alex
Hatfield, Keagan McCall, Michael Wilson, Todd Allums,
Nathan Ingram, Travis Norman, Josh Courtney and C. J.
Tallent. The Lenoir City High School Football Team and
Basketball Team will serve as honorary pallbearers. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Coty
Bluford Memorial Scholarship Fund, C\O Lenoir City
Schools Central Office, 2145 Harrison Ave. Lenoir City,
