Cook Suit Update
| Back in September 2021, Loudon County commission
denied a rezone of property on Hwy. 321 for Cook Brothers Construction
of Blount County. Cook had planed to build 194 homes on a parcel of land
on Hwy 321, near Unitia Road. Less than a month later, John Cook of Cook
Brothers, filed a law suit challenging the county's denial of the
rezone.
This week, myself, and three other commissioners have been subpoenaed to give depositions to the Cook attorney. Not sure why, the entire meeting is on Youtube. No date has been set for the lawsuit to be heard. |
