Convicted sex offender wanted in Morgan, Roane counties

KINGSTON, Tenn. (WATE) - A Morgan County man is wanted in two counties for violating the sex offender registry, according to District Attorney General Russell Johnson.

Matthew Ryan Humfleet, 27, a convicted sex offender, is wanted by the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, Roane County Sheriff's Office, Tennessee Department of Corrections and 9th District Attorney's Intern Crimes Against Children task force.

Humfleet pleaded guilty in 2016 to two counts of statutory rape and received a three-year sentence. The charges involved two fifteen-year-old girls in Morgan and Loudon counties. 

Humfleet is 6'1" tall and weighs 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
