LOUDON — Despite threats of legal action, most Loudon County
commissioners are standing squarely behind its decision to
move the school administration offices out of the County
Office Building. “It’s definitely the right thing to do,”
said Commissioner Don Miller.
In January, commissioners voted 9-1 to transfer $800,000
from the school department’s fund to renovate the Technical
Center on Harrison Road in Lenoir City. The plan was to
prepare the building to become a new home for the schools
administrative offices.
