Charges Dismissed
| Last week it was reported that
Tellico Village resident Angelo Paul Leone, 66, of 104
Santee Way, Loudon, was charged with simple assault. The charges were
the result of an alleged altercation in the Tellico Village Property
Owners Association (POA) office.
Allegedly, Mr. Leone was involved in an altercation with
POA General Manager, Winston Blazer.
According to documents from General Sessions Court, those charges have been dismissed and all costs charged to the state. According to some blog reports, Mr. Leone never actually made physical contact with Mr. Blazer but a stapler knocked from Blazer's desk struck his arm. These reports are unconfirmed. None the less, the charges have been dismissed. |
