American Legion Post 256 Commander Vic Vickery and the Post Adjutant James McNeece presented a certificate of appreciation to the Loudon County Republican Women’s Club for their support of Girls State. The presentation was made during the Loudon County Republican Women 2012 Christmas Social.

The social and dinner was held at the First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Connie Clark, president of the Loudon County Republican Women, accepted the award. The Volunteer Girls State is a leadership and citizenship-training program offered by the American Legion to young women who are rising high school seniors.
