Candidate Challenged
| Lenoir City attorney, James Scott, has filed a complaint with the
Loudon County Election Commission claiming that one candidate who has
qualified to run for city council is not actually eligible to be on the
ballot. Scott maintains that candidate David Cole does not meet the one
year residency requirement in the city charter.
