Burn ban lifted in Loudon County
 

The state has lifted a burn ban in Loudon County after several days of rain.

Forestry officials say the wet weather has provided enough relief to reduce the wildfire threat.

The ban had applied to all open-air burning, including leaf and woody debris, construction burning, campfires and grills.

Although the burn ban has been lifted, forestry officials urge the public to use good judgment and avoid situations that could cause a fire.
