The Fort Loudon Marina Christmas Boat Parade will be held on Sunday, Dec. 12. Any and all boats are welcome to participate in the parade, which will start from the Fort Loudon dam. Decorated boats will cruise up Fort Loudon Lake toward Concord Park before returning to the marina and passing in front of Calhoun's at the dam. Boats should gather outside the marina in front of the dam by 3:30 p.m. The parade should last approximately three hours. For more information about participating, e-mail bhandly@msn.com.
