Billboard campaign launched for man
who robbed 2 East Tennessee banks KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Billboards across the state seek information on a man who robbed two East Tennessee banks Tuesday afternoon. The first robbery was just after 3:00 p.m. at the BB&T Bank on Grove Street in Loudon. The robber gave a note to a teller demanding money. Just before 4:00 p.m., a robber matching the earlier description robbed the Bank of America in Kingston. Again he gave bank employees a note demanding money. The suspect is described as appearing to be in his mid to late 30s, approximately 5' 8" to 5' 9" tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He has multiple tattoos on his arms, hands and neck, along with a prominent tattoo on the back his right hand. The FBI says a reward is offered.
