Attorney Resigns
| Recently hired Lenoir City attorney, Buddy Hathcock,
has submitted his resignation as the city attorney. Hathcock was hired
back in February after then city attorney, Shannon Littleton, was
appointed as General Manager of LCUB. Hathcock noted in his letter of resignation that the job workload was more extensive than he expected. His resignation was effective August 1st. The personal committee will decide if they want to seek to hire another attorney or just retain a law firm to represent the city as needed. |
