For the last two weeks, the News Herald has been posting the property transfers of the Chinese property in Hotchkiss Valley. They've publishes about two thirds of them so far. There were a total of 125 Chinese property holders in the deal.

One of the things noticed in the transfer notices is the description that the property is in the 2nd district. This is not correct. The property is in the 5th legislative district. The 2nd district refers to the 2nd civil district. Properties use to be described by civil districts, now legislative districts.  

I haven't had any other updates from the state on the matter lately.
