Thursday, 2/28, will be the last day of business for the Yale company in Lenoir City. While the staff reductions have continued for the last several months, a few of the most senior, long time, employees who are still working will punch out for the last time officially closing a long, successful chapter in Lenoir City history.

Over the course of it's sixty year presence in the city, hundreds if not thousands of locals have worked for the company. I doubt that anybody that reads this doesn't know someone or or is kin to someone who has worked at Yale.

Hopefully, all those who lost their jobs have found other employment or soon will.
