A Legend In His Own Mind
| Many of you have been critical of Mr. Arp's lavish
remodeling of the county office building. Even Linda Brewer at the News
Herald in a recent editorial took issue with his extravagant waste of
the tax payer money. You folks seem to feel that Arp is not entitled to
surround him with lavish appointments and decorum. That the hundreds of
thousands he has spent could have been better spent somewhere like on
dilapidated schools.
Well take heart. I have proof that Arp is not all bad. Word is that Arp is going to allow any teacher or school official to have the old, perfectly good ceiling tiles that he is having torn out of the county office building. The old tiles can be used to replace missing, water stained or molded tiles for their class rooms. You see, there is some good in every one. |
