A Day Of Change
| In what had to be a bitter sweet day for members of
the Highland Park Baptist Church, members gathered Wednesday to watch as
the old sanctuary was razed making room for a brand new addition to the
church. The church moved into a new sanctuary some years ago and had
converted the old sanctuary into class rooms and other uses. The old
structure was erected in 1945 according to the marble plaque removed
from the walls of the old building before it was brought down. The church will shortly be moving into a brand new educational building that replaces the classroom space that was in the old building.
