A Couple More
| At the end of the day Friday, a couple more
candidates had picked up qualifying petitions. Porsche Shantz has picked
up to run for sessions judge in the republican primary. Michael Dishner
picked up both republican and independent petitions to run for county
commission 5th district seat "B" currently held by Chris Park. Thus far, 57 individuals have picked up petitions for the 18 positions on the May ballot. 39 candidates have submitted their petitions back to the election commission and have qualified to seek office. This election will have more candidates on the ballot than any Loudon County election |
