| After an out pouring of complaints from parents and
opposition from at least some school board members, Loudon County school
officials have announced that they will be returning to the traditional
A B C grading system for the lower elementary grades.
For some unknown reason, this past school year, school administrators decided to try an experiment with a new grading system that used M P N instead of A B C. From the time the first grade cards went out it was obvious the new grading system was a total failure and very, very unpopular with parents. Have you ever noticed that government officials can never admit they're wrong? Well at least this time the parents won. A B C's it is. |
