Rev. Dr. Kevin R. Collins, age 54, of Knoxville, formerly of Oak Ridge, TN, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Kevin was a devoted follower of Christ and member of the Presbyterian Church in America. He was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and received his Bachelors of Science in Marketing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and his Masters of Divinity at the Knox Theological Seminary. Kevin then went on to receive his Doctorate of Ministry at the Covenant Theological Seminary. Kevin served at Reformed Theological Seminary as Director of Enrollment Management and Assistant Director for the Doctor of Ministry program. He served as guest faculty in Practice Theology at the Orlando campus and was an ordained Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. Before coming to Reformed Theological Seminary, Kevin served as Senior Pastor for West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, VA for 9 years. Kevin currently served as Minister at Grace Presbyterian Church and was a member of Resurrection Presbyterian Church.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Robert Collins and mother, Helen Elizabeth Good Collins. He is survived by his wife, Candace Duff Collins, daughters Jordan Alexandra Parkerson, Lauren Alyssa Parkerson, and beloved best friend, Barnabas. Kevin is also survived by his sisters, Barbara (Bobbie) Helms (Matthew) and Joann Brown, father-in-law, Harold Duff, and brother-in-law, Lance Duff (Brandy).

Reception will be held from 4pm - 6pm, Tuesday, May 22 at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, 9132 Kingston Pike. Funeral service to follow at 6pm, Rev. Brett Harriman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Resurrection Presbyterian Church, 6900 Nubbin Ridge Dr, Knoxville, TN 37919 or to the Rev. Dr. Kevin R.
