The 5th District
| Loudon County is divided into seven legislative
districts. Three of the districts have two commissioners and four have
only one commissioner. The number of commissioners is based on
population of the district. I have the honor of representing the 5th legislative district along with my fellow commissioner Joe Morrison. The 5th is the best district in my opinion. With well over 11,000 residents in the 5th district, we have a greater population than Lenoir City, Loudon or Tellico Village. Our 11,200 population also includes over 1000 Lenoir City residents. The district adjoins Knox County and Roane County and spans from Dixie Lee Junction to Hines Creek to Buck Town. The district is extremely diverse in property and people.
