321 Crash Leaves One Critical
| A three car crash Friday night on Hwy 321 left
several shaken up and one woman in critical condition. The wreck began
with a two vehicle collision in the turn lane between Bimbos and Krystle.
Both vehicles came to rest in the north bound lanes of 321. An
unidentified female pulled her car to the side of the road and got out
to check on those who were involved in the wreck. As the good Samaritan
reached the accident vehicles, a third car driven by a Maryland man
traveling north, struck the woman and the other two wrecked vehicles.
The woman was knocked several feet into the median. The woman was flown
to the University Medical Center with serious injuries.
The Maryland man preformed poorly on field sobriety test and was taken to the hospital for blood tests. Charges may be pending. Both north bound lanes of 321 were closed for some time. |
