Vehicle Burglary Suspects Arrested!

Over the last two months Loudon County has had a rash of vehicle burglaries throughout Loudon County. “Thanks to the vigilance, determination, and teamwork between the LCSO patrol deputies and the criminal investigators I am proud to announce that two suspects have been taken into custody in reference to the vehicle burglaries” Sheriff Tim Guider.

50 vehicle burglaries in Loudon County. During the investigation the suspects have also been connected to several vehicle burglaries in West Knox County, Lenoir City, and Loudon City. LCSO investigator Cosner is currently working with Knox County, Lenoir City, and Loudon City investigators to get items returned to victims with in their jurisdiction.

Investigator Cosner was able to recover a large amount of stolen items during this investigation and is asking for anyone who may be a victim of recent vehicle burglaries to please contact him at (865) 986-4823 during regular business hours. After contacting Inv. Cosner, he will set up an appointment for you to come down to file a report and view the items recovered.

At this time the two suspects in custody (Shawanda Stuart and Lincoln Sanders) are charged with numerous counts of burglary and theft with more counts pending.


LOUDON (WATE) – Two people were arrested after more than 50 vehicle burglaries happened in Loudon County over two months.

Shawanda Stuart and Lincoln Sanders face multiple charges including burglary and theft.

Investigators believe the two are connected with many burglaries in Loudon County and Knox County.

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Loudon County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of two suspected car burglars accused of breaking into more than 50 cars.

Investigators charged Shawanda Stuart and Lincoln Sanders with multiple counts of burglary and theft. More charges are pending.

Sheriff Tim Guider said the crimes took place in the last two months, "Thanks to the vigilance, determination, and teamwork between the LCSO patrol deputies and the criminal investigators I am proud to announce that the two suspects have been taken into custody."

Investigators said suspects were also connected to car burglaries in West Knox County, Lenoir City and Loudon City. Authorities are working with those jurisdictions to return stolen items.
